Wisconsin guard Brad Davison is at the center of controversy again, following what appeared to be a cheap shot in Monday night’s game against Iowa.

In the closing minute of the game, Davison was whistled for a flagrant foul after fighting through a screen that sent both he and Iowa’s Connor McCaffery to the floor. As the play was happening, it looked like Davison slipped and collided with McCaffery, causing the collision.

But a slow-motion video from close range captured Davison appearing to land a cheap shot on McCaffery below the belt. The Badger guard then proceeded to wrap his arm around McCaffery’s leg. After a review, officials considered the play to be a flagrant foul.

It was a huge moment in the game, as Iowa was up just 62-59 at the time of the foul. McCaffery made one free throw and Luka Garza made another to make the score 64-59 with under 40 seconds to play. Iowa defeated Wisconsin 68-62.

Below are the videos of the foul called on Davison:

It will be interesting to see if the B1G issues any punishment on Davison, who has earned a reputation as a dirty player in the B1G for similar acts on the court.
