LSU consultant, ex-NFL and collegiate head coach compares Joe Burrow to legendary NFL QB

Joe Burrow’s dramatic 2019 season has boosted his NFL Draft stock to incredible heights with many predicting the Heisman winner to go No. 1 overall.
Burrow began his LSU career in 2018 after transferring from Ohio State, completing 57.8% of passes with 16 touchdowns last season. But after an offseason of work and preparation, Burrow boosted his completion percentage to 77.9%. In the process, he threw for over 4,700 yards and 48 touchdowns to lead the Tigers to the College Football Playoff.
With Burrow moving onto the NFL after this season, some of tried to provide a comparison for his talents at the next level. Current LSU analyst John Robinson, who also spent time as an NFL and collegiate head coach, shared one impressive comparison recently.
According to Robinson, Burrow most reminds him of legendary San Francisco 49ers QB Joe Montana. Robinson cited Burrow’s combination of accuracy and mobility as similar to that displayed by Montana.

That is definitely a big-time comparison for Burrow.
