The Big Ten released its preseason all conference basketball team on Monday morning.
They honored 10 players, including two unanimous selections.
Here’s the list:
- Kofi Cockburn, Illinois
- Ayo Dosunmu, Illinois (Unanimous selection)
- Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana
- Luka Garza, Iowa (Unanimous selection)
- Joe Wieskamp, Iowa
- Aaron Henry, Michigan State
- Marcus Carr, Minnesota
- Trevion Williams, Purdue
- Geo Baker, Rutgers
- Nate Reuvers, Wisconsin
Garza was also named preseason player of the season.

Last season, Garza averaged 23.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
Here’s how the selections break down by team:
- Illinois: 2
- Iowa: 2
- Indiana: 1
- Michigan State: 1
- Minnesota: 1
- Purdue: 1
- Rutgers: 1
- Wisconsin: 1
According to KenPom’s preseason rankings, Wisconsin (No. 7) and Ohio State (No. 10) are the best teams in the Big Ten. Iowa (No. 12), Michigan State (No. 15), Michigan (No. 17), Illinois (No. 18), Purdue (No. 25), Indiana (No. 26) and Rutgers (No. 27) are also inside the top-30.
