Luka Garza is on a tear, lighting up the Summer League in impressive fashion.

It all started Friday evening when Garza posted a 10-point, 12-rebound performance for his first double-double in Las Vegas. He followed that up with an even bigger and better 20-point, 13-rebound performance on Saturday night, flexing his improved 3-point shooting in the process. He knocked down 3 from long range while going 3-for-6 from deep.

After that string of hot performances, Garza has reportedly landed a two-way contract with the Pistons. That type of deal will allow Garza to see action with Detroit’s G-League team while still practicing with the regular squad.

But even with that news, Garza was not done at the Summer League. He posted another double-double on Monday evening, achieving the feat in just one half of action.

At the break, Garza had 15 points and 10 rebounds to go with an assist. He is performing like the early steal of the 2021 Draft and will be a name to watch throughout this season.
