Malik Bryant is one of the best linebackers in the country and a Maryland target for the class of 2023. Previously setting Saturday, July 23 as his commitment date, Byrant is reportedly pushing back that decision.

According to Chad Simmons with On3, Bryant decided to push back his commitment since he believes he’s not quite ready to make his move yet. At this point, Bryant has not yet set a new date for his decision.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Bryant is a 4-star recruit and the No. 4 LB in the country. Bryant is also the 57th overall prospect in the country regardless of position.

At this point, Bryant’s Crystal Ball has been for Miami with Maryland, Alabama and Florida the rest of his group of finalists. It will be interesting to see if pushing back his decision changes the outlook for Bryant’s decision.
