Mantrez Walker’s recruitment is coming to an end later this month.
On Friday afternoon, Walker announced his top 4 programs and said he will share his commitment on Feb. 11. He’s considering Michigan, Penn State, LSU and Florida.

Walker is a linebacker prospect from Buford, Georgia. He has become one of the top prospects in the country for his classification. In addition to these 4 programs, he has offers from places like Michigan State, Florida State, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Tennessee, amongst others.
He does not currently have a 247Sports Composite ranking due to how early it is in the 2025 recruiting cycle. However, that is expected to change in the coming months.
Michigan already has 1 commitment in the class of 2025: 4-star cornerback Chris Ewald. The Nittany Lions also have 1 commitment in the cycle so far from 4-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews.
