March Madness is officially here.

Houston’s Tramon Mark drained a heavily-contested 3-pointer at the buzzer to defeat Memphis their final regular season game of the season.

The Cougars inbounded the ball with just 1.7 seconds left. Mark caught the ball, turned and launched up a prayer.

Here’s the result:

If you listen closely as Mark releases the ball, someone in the building yells “That’s game!” Not a bad shot by that person, either.

That 3-pointer avoided overtime and sends the Cougars into this week’s AAC Tournament on a high note. Houston will be the No. 2 seed in the AAC Tournament and is a threat to earn a very high seed in the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday.

Houston is now 21-3 this season. The Cougars’ only losses have come against Wichita State, East Carolina and Tulsa.

The AAC Tournament begins on March 11. Selection Sunday is on March 14.
