Michigan State began the season at 2-0 and was coming off a 51-17 beat-down against Western Michigan coming into Week 3.
The offense looked better than it had in quite some time. After all, that’s been the issue with the Spartans for over a year now: the offense. Defensively, Michigan State is just fine. The -6 rushing yards allowed in the first two weeks of 2019 can attest to that.
But in Week 3, Michigan State laid an egg offensively once again, losing to Arizona State, 10-7. On Tuesday, coach Mark Dantonio spoke with the media about many things, including the overall vibe around the team:
Dantonio says MSU continues to have a "positive vibe" and good chemistry. Trying to keep Spartans upbeat after loss. "You have to rally back. I think that's very important."
