Mark Dantonio and Michigan State are taking in the complete New York City experience in the days leading up to the Pinstripe Bowl. On Thursday, the Spartans head coach had the opportunity to open up the New York Stock Exchange.
It’s been a tradition that the two head coaches of the teams participating in the Pinstripe Bowl to open the day by ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange. So, Dantonio and Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson took part in this year’s event.

This was just one adventure for Michigan State and Wake Forest during their time in New York. Both teams also visited the 9/11 Memorial this week.
Michigan State enters the Pinstripe Bowl with a 8-4 record, hoping to end the season with a winning mark. Wake Forest is 7-5 this season.
The Pinstripe Bowl is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 27 for 3:20 p.m. ET. The Spartans are currently a 3.5-point favorite.
