Mark Dantonio has high praise for Ryan Day’s Buckeyes

It’s safe to say Mark Dantonio knows a thing or two about facing Ohio State, and he had some very high praise for this year’s version.

In all fairness, Dantonio’s Spartans came out playing hard against the Buckeyes. If not for a hot streak in the second quarter, Saturday’s game would have looked much different. But an outburst by Justin Fields and the offense proved the difference in the win.

Ohio State forced the Spartans into plenty of errors in the dominant showing and was a force to be reckoned with offensively. To his credit, Dantonio recognized the greatness on the field in Columbus.

During his Sunday evening teleconference, the head coach of the Spartans admitted that this year’s version of the Buckeyes is arguably the best he’s faced. Considering he’s been at Michigan State since 2007, that is high praise indeed.
