Mark May is picking one rivalry upset featuring a top 25 B1G team

It seems to be rivalry week for a number of Big Ten teams in Week 2.
Iowa is playing Iowa State, Penn State plays Pittsburgh and while Ohio State-Rutgers isn’t a rivalry, it is a Week 2 game featuring two Big Ten squads. People like picking upsets — and upsets seem to be more common when two teams absolutely despise one another.
Bring in Mark May. Keep in mind that May is a Pittsburgh alum. That may play a role here.

Last year Coach Franklin said “it’s no big deal beating Pitt, it’s like beating Akron”, do you think any player or coach has forgotten that? Pitts going to win this game. #PSUvsPitt

The upset would be just that — an upset. Penn State is the more talented team and is ranked No. 14 in the country for a reason. But, it wouldn’t be that insane of an upset.
Just two years ago, Pittsburgh beat Penn State 42-39. And one week ago, Penn State had to go to overtime in order to defeat Appalachian State.
Penn State fans shouldn’t be overly confident going into this one.
