Ever since the NFL decided to hammer Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott with a six-game suspension for an alleged domestic violence issue, the topic has been discussed by every major sports station out there.
But few give such great commentary like Mark Schlereth.
Schlereth joined FOX Sports personality Doug Gottlieb to discuss Elliott’s suspension and what to expect from the star running back moving forward. And Schlereth didn’t hold back.
“My hope, for a guy like Ezekiel Elliott, is that this is somewhat of a wakeup call. To say, get your life together,” Schlereth said. “If everywhere you go, it smells like a turd, you might want to check your own pants. If everywhere you go there’s a problem, it may be you.”
Elliott was slapped with the lengthy suspension by the league on Friday. According to Adam Schefter, the second-year ball-carrier plans to appeal the suspension. He has three days business days to file.
