Marvin Harrison Jr. scores first NFL TDs in quick succession

Marvin Harrison Jr. entered the NFL with huge expectations, as NFL pundits across the league think he has a chance to be a franchise-level wide receiver. However, the former Ohio State star had a slow start in the season opener.
In his first career game last week, he had only 1 catch for 4 yards. Harrison was also open late for what could have been a game-winning touchdown catch, but quarterback Kyler Murray didn’t see him.
While Harrison didn’t reach those expectations in Week 1, he has already sent a reminder to the entire NFL why he was drafted with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

That was his first career touchdown, and it gave the Cardinals an early 7-0 lead against the Los Angeles Rams. As good as that catch was, it was only a few minutes later where he showed the big play ability.

He has since added 2 more catches and is now sitting at 130 yards for his first career 100-yard game. Malik Nabers, another receiver drafted high in the first round this year, also had his breakout game on Sunday with 10 catches for 127 yards and 1 touchdown against the Washington Commanders.
