Maryland football has made quite the splash across the past 24 hours with the addition of not one, but two commitments in the Class of 2027 cycle.
Late Saturday night, the Terps landed a commitment from 4-star safety Kenaz Sullivan, who chose the Terps over the likes of Tennessee, Ohio State and Florida. About 12 hours later, Maryland earned a pledge from 3-star wide receiver Mason McClure, who hails from Alabaster, Alabama.
Let’s start with Sullivan, who now ranks as Maryland’s top prospect of the 15 commitments the Terps have secured so far in the Class of 2027. Sullivan hails from Virginia and ranks as the No. 239 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 17 safety and No. 4 player out of Virginia.
“I’ve been to Maryland more times than I can count,” Sullivan said, via Chad Simmons of Rivals. “I love how everyone is just like a family.”
McClure is an Alabama native who played both receiver and running back for Thompson high school. He chose the Terps over South Alabama, Kennesaw State and others, and ranks as the No. 1745 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 218 WR and 63 player out of Alabama.
