Maryland is going back to its ACC roots.

The Terps announced on Thursday that they set up a home-and-home with old ACC foe, Virginia.

The teams announced the future matchups, which are scheduled for 2023 and 2024.

  • Sept. 16, 2023     Virginia at Maryland (College Park, Md.)
  • Sept. 14, 2024     Maryland at Virginia (Charlottesville, Va.)

Maryland faced Virginia 78 times, which is more than any other Terps opponent. In the all-time series, Maryland holds a 44-32-2 advantage and the Terps won the last two matchups.

With that on the slate, Maryland now has its Power Five requirement satisfied for 2023 and 2024. The Terps now have that covered for 12 of the next 13 seasons.
