The “Dirty Terps” of 2022 have set a new program record.

Following a 14-7 victory over Purdue on Thursday evening, Maryland clinched its 43rd victory of the season. That’s the highest single-season win total in program history.

Maryland improved to 43-10 overall with Thursday’s victory. It also sits at 17-5 in league play. The Terrapins play Purdue on Friday and Saturday to close out the regular season.

Thursday’s victory also marked a sixth-straight victory for Maryland, included a series sweep of Michigan last weekend.

Maryland’s 17-5 record in B1G play currently is the best in the B1G, 1 game ahead of Rutgers, which sits at 16-6. Iowa and Illinois are both at 15-7 in league play this season.

This weekend marks the final of the regular season in the B1G. The B1G Tournament will start next week with every game being covered on Big Ten Network.
