The college basketball season is almost ready to get underway amidst questions about sustainability during COVID-19. Maryland basketball coach Mark Turgeon is preparing his team for the B1G slate while also recognizing that this unprecedented season will be fluid and a work in progress.
Turgeon told the media that it’s unrealistic to expect things to go absolutely smooth in the middle of a pandemic.
Mark Turgeon on the basketball season:
“We know what the dates are [for the NCAA tournament] and we’ve worked backwards from there. We’re just trying to figure out a way to get to an NCAA tournament. Is it going to perfect? No. It’s not going to go perfect.”
