Maryland has been on a steady recruiting roll over the past couple of weeks. That streak continued over the holiday weekend with the Terrapins picking up a Sunday commitment.

This time, the pledge comes from Deandre Duffus, a 6-foot-4 and 330 lb. offensive tackle out of Hollywood, Florida. Duffus held other offers from Indiana, Syracuse, Colorado, Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL) and others.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Duffus is a 3-star prospect for the class of 2023. He is also rated the No. 107 OT nationally.

The addition of Duffus brings Maryland up to 14 total commitments for the cycle with a strong run since the middle part of June. From that group, the Terps have landed 12 commitments since June 18.

It will be interesting to see how the Terps can keep things rolling as we head into the heat of July.
