Maryland fans have not had a lot to cheer about in Week 10. Despite a dynamic first-half performance from Taulia Tagovailoa, the Terrapins hit the fourth quarter trailing 24-7.

It was also an interesting afternoon in the stands in College Park. That was produced by a group of fans who made the decision to don body paint for the game.

It’s clear the group had designs to spell out “TERPS,” but that is not the message they went for.

Instead, they rearranged their message to spell out “STREP.” What possessed this group to go that route is unclear, but the FOX broadcast shared a moment to address the fans.

“If you are into diseases, this is the place to be,” said one broadcaster.

“Well, actually, I think this is supposed to go here, here,” answered the broadcast partner. “They’re just a bit confused.”

“Does anyone have a throat culture,” was the final reply.
