Maryland lands commitment from big-time Virginia Beach CB

The Maryland Terrapins scored a big-time commitment Thursday.
Four-star CB Tayvion Land (Virginia Beach, Va.) committed to Maryland over many elite programs around the country, including Virginia Tech, Auburn, Florid and Georgia, among others. Following Land’s commitment, Maryland now has five pledges in the class of 2019, and Land is now the top overall commitment.
The 5-foot-8, 166-pound Land is ranked as the nation’s No. 25 overall CB and the state of Virginia’s No. 8 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
