Maryland has named its captains for their week 4 contest against Kent State.
The announcement came via their Twitter account for football and the 3 players that got the nod are Kenny Bennett, Jordan Mosley, and Carlos Carriere.

Bennett is in his senior season and is already off to a good start as a defensive back. Through 3 games, Bennett has 3 total tackles (2 solo) with 2 passes defended.
As for Mosley, he’s also in his senior season and is off to an even better start than Bennett is as a defensive back. In 3 games, Mosley has totaled 11 tackles (6 solo) with 1 forced fumble and 1 pass defended. He’s coming off an outstanding 2020 season when he finished with 41 total tackles (25 solo) with 1 sack and 2 passes defended.
Carriere has appeared in 1 game for the Terps this season and it came on Sept. 11 against Howard when Maryland shut them out 62-0. Carriere finished with 2 receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Kickoff against Kent State will be on Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
