While No. 7 Michigan State and No. 4 Ohio State will be battling it out in Columbus, No. 6 Michigan will be in College Park taking on Maryland.
Maryland head coach Mike Locksley was asked about how he plans to take on the dynamic defensive line of the Wolverines in a recent interview, especially Aidan Hutchinson, who is second on the team in sacks with 9 in 2021.
Locksley stated that Hutchinson is as advertised according to Emily Giambalvo of the Washington Post.
Locksley on Michigan’s standout defensive end: “Aidan Hutchinson is as advertised. Will be probably one of the biggest defensive play-makers that we’ve faced this year. A mixture of size, speed, tenacity. Really, really plays hard, with a motor.”

The Terrapins are tied for sacks allowed this year with the 65th most with 22 sacks through 10 games, but this group could be unlike any other pass rushers they have faced. The Wolverines have 27 total sacks on defense, so this could be an interesting matchup.
No. 6 Michigan (9-1) and Maryland (5-5) play Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
