Tom Allen has something special building at Indiana. This past season, for the first time in 25 years, the Hoosiers were inside an AP top 25 poll.
Allen was only in Year 4, and he got Indiana to an 8-5 record and a bowl game. How does one build on success? Recruiting the right types of players to fit your system and continue the growth.
On National Signing Day on Wednesday, Allen got a commitment and signee in 6-foot-6, 332-pound offensive guard Khalil Benson:

Benson is from Southaven, Mississippi. Despite being from Mississippi and in SEC country, he chose Indiana over schools that offered him scholarships such as Mississippi State, Kentucky, Ole Miss and others.
Benson, according to 247Sports, is a 3-star prospect for the 2020 class. He is now the 19th player to sign with Indiana for this next season.
