Matt Campbell held back from going after fan during postgame exchange

Matt Campbell used to be one of the hottest names on the coaching carousel, being linked to bigger programs than Iowa State.
Now his seat is what’s hot, as the Cyclones have struggled and have been hit hard with gambling suspensions this season.
Just don’t tell Campbell that he’s on the hot seat, though. He clearly doesn’t appreciate it. As you can see below, he had to be restrained from going after a fan who told him he was in danger of losing his job:

Iowa State lost 10-7 at Ohio on Saturday to fall to 1-2 on the season. Clearly the Cyclones are struggling and fans aren’t happy with their once-popular head coach.
Still, it’s never a good look for a coach to have to be held back from going after a fan. We’ll see if Campbell addresses this incident moving forward and if he faces any discipline from Iowa State over the matter.
