Matt Leinart releases top performers from Week 3, includes 3 B1G standouts

Fox Sports’s Matt Leinart released his top performers from college football Week 3 on Monday.

Leinart had Washington’s Micheal Penix Jr. at No. 1. The Huskies quarterback and former Indiana Hoosier had 397 passing yards and 4 total touchdowns in Washington’s upset over Michigan State on Saturday.

At No. 2 was the pair of Penn State’s Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen, who combined for 176 rushing yards and 4 combined touchdowns in the win over SEC foe Auburn.

Georgia’s Brock Bowers was No. 3 as the tight end put together 126 yards and 3 touchdowns in Georgia’s monster win over South Carolina.

Michigan’s Blake Corum came in at No. 4 as the running back put together a 71-yard, 5-touchdown performance in Michigan’s dominating win over UConn. 4 of his touchdowns came in the first half.

At No. 5 was Kansas’s Jalon Daniels, who had 281 total yards and 5 total touchdowns in the Jayhawks’ third win of the season.
