After taking time away from broadcasting to focus on his health, Penn State legend Matt Millen will be under the headset once again this weekend.

Penn State announced via a release that Millen would be at Beaver Stadium on Saturday afternoon, broadcasting Saturday’s Blue-White game. He left Big Ten Network early in the football season last year as he awaited a heart transplant.

Millen suffered from amyloidosis and required a heart transplant to save his life. He underwent a successful surgery on Christmas Eve and is now feeling well enough to return to the broadcast booth.

The Blue-White game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 13. However, the game will not air on Big Ten Network until 8 p.m. that day. With nine B1G spring games scheduled for the day, several teams will be on a tape delay.

Along with Millen, Lisa Byington and Elise Menaker will complete the broadcast crew in Happy Valley on Saturday.
