It’s been a tumultuous season for the Bears as hardly anything has gone right. They’re 6-10 going into this last game and rumors have been swirling about this being it for Nagy.
Outside of 1 playoff year in 2018, Nagy has missed the playoffs each year he’s been in Chicago.
Fields has impressed as the starter, even if his stats don’t fully back that up. He has 1,870 yards passing with 7 touchdowns to 10 interceptions but has 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in his last 3 starts.
Getting him the right coach for his early years will be crucial as he continues to develop into what Bears fans hope will be a franchise quarterback.
Kickoff on Sunday will be at 1 p.m. ET.
