Matt Haarms is a monster of a human. At 7-foot-3, he’s likely taller than anybody you or I have ever seen.
And, I’ve been to basketball games before. But, being 7-foot-3 is just different. Haarms isn’t just big, either. He’s a skilled player.
So far this season, the Boilermaker big is averaging 10.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and over two blocks per game. He’s shooting 56.9 percent from the field, too, proving his efficiency.

On Thursday, Haarms suffered a hip injury against Michigan in the first half. He would sit the rest of the game and the Boilermakers went on to lose.
Up next for Haarms and Purdue is a game at home Sunday against Big Ten leader Michigan State. On Saturday, Purdue coach Matt Painter gave an update on his big man:
Matt Haarms practiced some Saturday and is a ‘game-time decision’ for Michigan State Sunday, per Matt Painter

Haarms has practiced and appears to be a game-time decision. For what it’s worth, Haarms has said that he will be good to go against the Spartans.
