Maurice Clarett calls for Ryan Day’s job following latest loss to Michigan

Maurice Clarett knows about the standard at Ohio State, and that starts with how the Buckeyes fare against Michigan. That’s not a good sign for Ryan Day who has dropped to 1-3 against TTUN with 3 straight losses.
On Saturday, Clarett was especially heated on social media after watching the Wolverines battle past Michigan with a 30-24 win. Clarett called out Day for losing a third straight to Michigan, telling the coach he’s “gotta go” and referenced Day getting paid $9 million to not lose 3 straight to the Wolverines.
Ryan Day…. Love you bro but gotta go. This is why you’re paid millions. Cant get paid 9’ms and lose 3 straight.

While reactions to Clarett’s initial point were mixed, he was undeterred. He pointed out he’s happy to not be “too connected” to the program and said everyone knows the current streak to Michigan is unacceptable.
Among other things, Clarett referenced putting in a call to Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and (semi) jokingly called for Urban Meyer to come back. Toward the end, he issued a plea for Texas QB Arch Manning to hit the transfer portal.
I’m kind of happy I’m not too connected to the program in these moments. I don’t have to be fake cool with anyone. Everyone knows…. You can’t lose 3 in a row to Michigan. Everyone just isn’t going to say it because they still want access to the Woody Hayes center.

No one cares about beating the BS teams we schedule. We play those teams on purpose to have a good record to get to Michigan and into the playoffs. That’s part of the program. You don’t make 9 million and lose to your rival 3 times in a row

I don’t care that @CoachUrbanMeyer is a little wild. Who cares. That’s life. He’s my dawg. I wish he comes back. I’ll take you with all of your shortcomings champ. I’m from Ohio. I love football more than your shortcomings 🤣🤣🤣. And I’m jokingly serious.

Come on Dawg…. Get in that transfer portal. We will have your whole life turnt up. I know your whole family paid but ain’t nothing like being a star at an elite school. Quinn Ewers ain’t going nowhere soon. @peytonmanning @archmanning think about it big dawg. pic.twitter.com/aojRv3345J
