The 2018 regular season just came to a close.
No. 6 Ohio State has had a powerful offense all year long thanks to QB Dwayne Haskins. Haskins, in his last game, set numerous Big Ten and Ohio State records against Michigan, as the Buckeyes put up 62 points on what was the No. 1-ranked defense in the country.
With his monstrous performance, it got people talking.
And by people, we mean ESPN’s Mel Kiper. Kiper puts out several NFL Draft Big Boards throughout the season, and in his latest, Haskins went soaring up.
In his last Big Board, Kiper didn’t have Haskins in the top 25. Now?
Haskins sits at No. 11 overall, right behind Oregon QB Justin Herbert — making Haskins a potential top 10 or mid-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft. And, Haskins is eligible as a redshirt sophomore, despite only starting at Ohio State for one season.
Here’s Kiper talking about Haskins:
