We all knew it wouldn’t be long until Mel Tucker was asked about Pat Narduzzi’s Peach Bowl comments with B1G Media Days on Wednesday. He is ready to focus on what’s ahead according to Tradition’s own Alex Hickey.
Michigan State bested Pittsburgh thanks to a comeback in the 4th quarter. The Spartans were down 21-16 with under 9 minutes to go and scored 3 unanswered touchdowns to win the game. Narduzzi brushed off the Spartans’ victory stating that the Panthers would have easily won the game if QB Kenny Pickett was playing, firing up Michigan State fans.
Tucker has now responded to the claims made by Narduzzi, hoping to put the drama to bed. He isn’t having any of it.
“I prefer not to get into hypotheticals,” said Tucker. “Particularly for games that were already decided on the field.”
