Mel Tucker puts blame on everyone for Michigan State’s poor performance vs. Ohio State

Saturday’s game with No. 2 Ohio State and No. 12 Michigan State on Saturday featured a pair of Heisman candidates and two teams looking for a shot at the College Football Playoffs.
In the end, the 56-7 blowout by the Buckeyes over the Spartans sent a clear message to everyone in college football that Ohio State was looking for the top spot in the land. Michigan State could get nothing going on offense, and on the other side of the ball the Buckeyes couldn’t be stopped.
Spartans head coach Mel Tucker made it clear that the loss was the responsibility of the entire Spartans team.

The Buckeyes jumped out to a 49-0 lead at the half, with OSU quarterback CJ Stroud topping the 400 yard mark in his case for a Heisman nod.
On defense, OSU held Kenneth Walker II to 24 rushing yards on five attempts in the first half, while keeping quarterback Payton Thorne to 158 passing yards, completing just 14-of-36 attempts.
The Spartans host Penn State on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 2:30 PM in East Lansing.
