The Ohio State coach’s opinion carries plenty of weight in his home state. Governor of Ohio John Kasich understands that. Perhaps that’s why he teamed up with Meyer for this video endorsement:

Kasich is trying to fight off Donald Trump among others to win the Republican nomination for president. As of Wednesday, Kasich reportedly had a 5-percent advantage over Trump in his home state.
Perhaps an endorsement from Meyer will bump that number up even higher in what’s become a must-win state at this point of the race.
