Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard is in trouble after using an anti-Semitic slur while playing a video game. The game was being live-streamed on Twitch.

In a video posted by Main Team, Leonard can be heard dropping profane language and using an anti-Semitic slur while playing the video game Call of Duty. Below is the video (Warning: graphic content):

After the incident became known, NBA spokesman Mike Brass released a statement:

Leonard is currently a member of the Miami Heat, a team he’s been with since 2019. He spent two seasons at Illinois (2010-12) before declaring for the NBA Draft. He was a first-round selection in 2012.

It’s unclear at this time what kind of punishment Leonard might face from the NBA or the organization.
