Micah Parsons had a different look to his uniform on Thursday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans.

Parsons was seen with his hand bandaged in a club during the Cowboys’ 27-13 win at Nissan Stadium. According to coach Mike McCarthy, the second-year linebacker suffered a hand laceration earlier in the week, and the extra padding was used for precautionary reasons more than anything else.

When asked if the injury would affect his status for Dallas’ Week 18 matchup against the Washington Commanders, McCarthy said that he’s hopeful Parson will be full-go in what could decide seeding in the NFC playoffs.

“I’m hopeful we can be past it this week but no, I’m not of high concern,” McCarthy said, via Ed Werder of ESPN.

Parsons once again looks to be in the running for Defensive Player of the Year honors after winning Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021. On Thursday, he was credited one tackle and two quarterback hits against former Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs.

Through 16 games Parsons has registered 63 total tackles, 13 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries and 3 pass breakups.

The Cowboys are currently projected to be the No. 5 seed in the playoffs, though could win the NFC East with a win over the Commanders, and back-to-back losses by the Philadelphia Eagles.
