Micah Parsons is a madman on the field. He also is a mad negotiator when it comes to garnering more reps.

Despite the lopsided score in a 40-3 Dallas Cowboys win over the Minnesota Vikings, Parsons wanted more playing time. Hoping to come back in the 4th quarter, the 2nd-year linebacker was seen trying to convince the coaching staff to let him rejoin his teammates for another series or two despite the game being out of reach.

Oh, and Parsons was knicked up earlier in the game, but it’s not like he cared about that at the moment.

Parsons finished with 7 total tackles, 2 sacks and 5 quarterback hits before leaving. Terrorizing Kirk Cousins in his own backyard, the Penn State alum made sure fans that call the Land of 10,000 Lakes home knew that he was the real deal.

This season, Parsons has looked like the front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year honors. He currently is 3rd among pass rushers in sacks (10), but also has 47 tackles and 30 quarterback hits and 33 pressures. He currently is 1 of 3 off-ball linebackers with at least 45 tackles and 5+ sacks, joining Buccaneers’ Devin White and Saints’ DeMario Davis.

The Cowboys will play host to NFC East rival New York on Thanksgiving at 4:30 E.T. on FOX.
