Micah Parsons is liking what he’s seeing from the Penn State defense in Week 9.

The Nittany Lion defense held Ohio State to 209 total yards of offense in the 1st half. The Buckeyes were also held to 1-for-7 on 3rd downs. C.J. Stroud has also been sacked twice by this Nittany Lion defense.

Parsons was thrilled to see true freshman Abdul Carter getting one sack, calling Carter a “legend in the making.”

Parsons starred for Penn State, winning the Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year Award in the 2019 season. Parsons would go on to be selected in the 1st round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, securing a Pro Bowl appearance and All-Pro selection in his rookie season.

The Nittany Lions carried a 14-13 lead into halftime. We’ll see if the defense makes Parsons proud in the second half.
