Michael Harris, a 4-star linebacker out of Altamonte Springs, Florida (Lake Brantley), has announced a commitment to play in the Big Ten.
Harris committed to Maryland. He’s listed at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, and is ranked the No. 28 linebacker in the country, and the No. 60 in the state of Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite. According to MaxPreps, Harris had 104 total tackles, 47 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.
Harris has been a recruit to watch, and only added to that after he led all players in tackles at the Under Armour Next All-America Game. His twin brother Andrew chose UCF, and that came after the twins reopened their recruitment in December when defensive coordinator Travis Williams accepted the same position at Arkansas.
