Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class continues to get better. The Wolverines landed another huge commitment on Wednesday morning.
Cornelius Johnson, a 4-star receiver out of Greenwich, Connecticut, has signed with the Wolverines on the first day of the Early Signing Period. He became the 27th player to give a verbal pledge or sign his Letter of Intent for Jim Harbaugh.
Johnson chose Michigan over offers from Penn State, Stanford, Notre Dame, Alabama and several other programs.

Johnson is ranked as a top 40 receiver in the 2019 class and is the No. 2 player out of Connecticut. He ranks in the top 300, according to 247Sports.
Michigan now has 14 ESPN top 300 recruits in its 2019 class, a pretty solid mark for Harbaugh and Co. Earlier in the day, the Wolverines received huge news as 5-star safety Daxton Hill — who decommitted from Michigan and flipped to Alabama — recommitted to the Wolverines.
Michigan is well on its way to bringing in the best recruiting class in the B1G and dethroning bitter rival Ohio State from that seat. The Buckeyes have owned the conference’s top class each of the last eight seasons.
It’s been a great day on the recruiting trail for the Wolverines.
