Michigan has added some serious size to its 2020 recruiting class.

On Monday night, 6-foot-5, 289-pound offensive lineman Micah Mazzccua gave his verbal pledge to the Wolverines, becoming the seventh player to join the class. He made his announcement via Twitter.

“Blessed to say I am verbally committed to the University of Michigan,” Mazzccua wrote on Twitter.

Mazzccua is a three-star offensive tackle out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. A month ago, the Wolverines received a commitment from four-star linebacker Osman Savage, also from St. Frances Academy.

According to 247Sports’ rankings, Mazzcua is ranked as one of the top 100 offensive tackles in the 2020 recruiting class. He’s also one of the top 30 players from Maryland.

Michigan’s 2020 recruiting class currently ranks 13th nationally and second in the B1G. The Wolverines’ 2019 class finished atop the B1G.
