Beginning with the 2021-22 academic and athletics season, Michigan will make some changes to its ticketing system.
On Tuesday, the athletic department announced that it will shift to a mobile ticketing system. This transition is something schools have been thinking about recently, but was bumped into action because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the release from Michigan, mobile tickets will apply to all sports except football season ticket renewals. They will have the option for printed tickets or through mobile device.

Print-at-home tickets will also be discontinued.
Michigan is also launching a new athletics mobile app that “will provide the easiest and most convenient way for fans to access their mobile tickets.” The app will be free to download.
Michigan plans to open venues up to 100% capacity beginning in fall 2021.
