One of the top players in the state of Massachusetts is headed to Michigan.

The Wolverines added an offensive lineman to their 2026 recruiting class on Wednesday. Marky Walbridge announced his plans to play for Sherrone Moore’s program.

From Needham, Massachusetts, Walbridge is out of St. Sebastian’s High School. He is listed as measuring 6-6 and 280 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Walbridge is rated 3-stars, the No. 2 player in the state of Massachusetts, No. 38 offensive tackle and No. 447 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.

A sought-after recruit, Walbridge collected 27 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He drew notable interest from Power 4 programs, including Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Before making his big decision, Walbridge took visits, and chose Michigan over Penn State and Alabama.

With Walbridge on board, Michigan has now 14 commitments in its 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 15 nationally on the Composite. Fans can get a preview of what Walbridge brings to Ann Arbor by checking out his junior-season highlights in the clip below, via Hudl:
