Michigan reached an incredible milestone after defeating Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolverines’ 27-20 victory over the Hoosiers marked the program’s 500th B1G win. Michigan is the first team in the conference to reach that mark.

Following the victory in Bloomington, the official Twitter account of Michigan football shared the following image.

The 500th conference victory didn’t come without some drama. The Wolverines let a 20-10 fourth-quarter lead slip away, as Indiana tied the game at 20-20 as time expired to send it to overtime.

Karan Higdon then scored a touchdown on the first play of the extra session and Michigan’s defense came up with a goal line stand to clinch the victory in Bloomington.
