Michigan comes back, pulls off road upset of No. 23 Ohio State to boost NCAA Tournament resume

Michigan’s NCAA Tournament resume got a huge boost Sunday. The Wolverines, without star center Hunter Dickinson, dominated the second half to beat No. 23 Ohio State 75-69 in Sunday’s regular-season finale.

Ohio State led 37-30 at the half. The second 20 minutes, however, belonged to Michigan. U-M outscored OSU 45-32 in the final period.

Michigan guard DeVante’ Jones led all scorers with 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor, going 3-of-6 from 3-point territory. Jones scored 14 of his 21 points in the second half.

In a rivalry game, there was a little trolling going on, too.

ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi had Michigan on the bubble as a “Last Four In” team before the win over Ohio State.
