It’s been a difficult season for Michigan (2-4) but one of its athletes is being recognized for their efforts off the field.

Michigan defensive lineman Kwity Paye was one of 10 players selected as a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award, according to college football insider Brett McMurphy:

Paye is the lone B1G player on the list.

The CLASS Award is given every year to the most outstanding senior Division I Student-Athlete of the Year spanning nine sports.

Paye concluded this season with 12 tackles and 2 sacks. Michigan’s final two games of the season vs. Maryland and Ohio State had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.
