Beginning the game with the football, the No. 13 Michigan Wolverines made a statement against the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes by marching down the field and taking an early 6-0 lead.

One of the fastest players on the team, freshman receiver Giles Jackson got the scoring started with a 22-yard end-around.

CFB on FOX shared video of Jackson’s explosiveness:

A seven-play, 75-yard drive, offensive coordinator Josh Gattis demonstrated great balance with his play calls by having senior quarterback Shea Patterson throw it four times and keeping it on the ground three times.

Seeking his first victory against the Buckeyes in five tries, head coach Jim Harbaugh was thrilled with the early showing from his offense. Courtesy of Yahoo! Sports CFB:

Live from Michigan Stadium, No. 1 Ohio State at No. 13 Michigan is currently airing on FOX with Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and “The All-American Girl” Jenny Taft on the call.
