Michigan has made a pair of staff changes official. Sherrone Moore is now sole offensive coordinator and Chris Partridge is the new linebackers coach.
Moore has been on Jim Harbaugh’s staff since 2018. After 3 seasons as tight ends coach, he became the offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator. Following the termination of Matt Weiss, the other co-offensive coordinator, Harbaugh has opted to name Moore as the sole offensive coordinator. Moore will continue to coach the offensive line. Weiss’ spot was filled by promoting Kirk Campbell from analyst to quarterbacks coach.
Blessings! So grateful for the opportunity and the work has just started! This is a special place and we will continue to work! Humble and Hungry! #SMASH👊🏾 #GOBLUE🔵 https://t.co/TBTpBi9hCv

Partridge’s return to Michigan was announced on Feb. 8. He was previously on Harbaugh’s staff from 2015-to-2019 before leaving to take the Ole Miss defensive coordinator position in 2020. Partridge’s responsibilities included coaching Wolverines linebackers from 2016-17.
Partridge replaces George Helow following a mutual parting of ways.
