Stephen Spanellis is an offensive lineman and former 3-star prospect at Michigan. He is in his fourth year, but used a redshirt his freshman year.
On Wednesday, to kick off the new year, the Wolverines took on Alabama in the Citrus Bowl, but lost, 35-16. Later that night, Spanellis used an Instagram (and Twitter) post to reveal that he intends on transferring from Ann Arbor:

The 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman is from Baltimore, Maryland. He has been a reserve offensive lineman (appearing in 14 games) and has appeared in 36 games on special teams.
