Michigan and Penn State faced off on Wednesday in a B1G hoops matchup. Juwan Howard’s team finished the game on top with a 79-69 win.

Penn State started the 2nd half on a strong note after going into half time down eight points. The Nittany Lions tied the game early in the second half, but Michigan followed it up with an 11-0 run.

Four different Wolverines finished the game with double digits in scoring. Hunter Dickinson (17), Jett Howard (14), Dug McDaniel (12) and Kobe Bufkin (14) all had success on the offensive end of the court.

Dickinson led his team in scoring and it’s easy to see why. Dickinson finished plays like this under the basket without much effort.

McDaniel opened the second half with a nice three-point shot to set the tone. This came after Penn State’s Evan Mahaffey hit a half court buzzer beater as the first half clock expired.

Plays like this from Bufkin allowed for Michigan to keep its foot on the gas. Bufkin had plenty of space to hit a mid-range shot for two points.

The win moves Michigan to 9-5 on the year. An in-state rivalry matchup with Michigan State awaits the Wolverines next on Saturday. Tipoff will be at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
