Michigan basketball released its 2023-24 non-conference schedule Wednesday morning.
It’s not chock full of games against top 25 opponents but does provide some warmup for the Wolverines ahead of a tough B1G conference schedule.
Notably, the Wolverines will face off against Rick Pitino’s first St. Johns squad, travel to a neutral site game against Florida and take part in the battle 4 Atlantis mid-season tournament. A road trip to face a solid Oregon team will be one to circle, too.
The Battle 4 Atlantis field includes Arkansas, Memphis, North Carolina, Northern Iowa, Stanford, Texas Tech and Villanova.

There are some solid mid-major programs listed here. For one, the Wolverines will face off against McNeese State after Will Wade’s mandated 5-game suspension.
Drew Pember and UNC Asheville also have a solid team out of the Big South.
